Robotic's project -  60 Day Comprehensive Overview 

The project will challenge the participants with new ways of thinking and problem solving to equip them with the right skills to become the future engineers of tomorrow.

 

Goals:

  • To work with CAD (Computer Aided Design) in the context of robot design. 

  • To learn DFM (Design for Manufacture).

  • To acquire an overview of 3D printing with practical printing of CAD models.

  • To approach Computer Vision programming using OpenCV (Open Computer Vision library).

  • To learn Robotics programming with ROS (Robot Operating System).

  • To be trained in Industrial robot programming.

Practical activities:

  • "Bring Your Robot to Life" workshop looking at the challenges facing the current and future robotics industry.

  • Introduction to robot competitions (Robocup, FIRA and ERL) and robot football.

  • Smart homes, work and cities.

  • Industry 4.0.
